Accomplishments Include:
My most treasured accomplishments are my almost 20 year marriage to my husband and our three children, Jacob, Jackson, and Jenna.
History with Softball and why I chose to Coach:
After college, I played coed softball and began coaching at the high school level in 2013. Throughout my tenure as a high school varsity coach I continued to coach travel ball at the 10 and 12u levels. I chose to begin coaching because I love the game and I very much missed playing. I started coaching before my daughter started playing competitively and then began coaching her travel teams over the years. One of my main missions as a youth coach is to teach the girls lessons that transcend the softball field. I want to teach them how to respond to adversity when they fail, how to put others above themselves, and to develop integrity and play with class. When the softball-playing days are done, these will be the things that matter in life
About me life and things that are important to me:
I am a 18 year veteran teacher. I’ve taught grades kindergarten through 10th. I spent 12 years in the public school before transitioning to the private school setting. Impacting students either in the classroom or on the field has always been what I feel like I’m called to do. A few things that are important to me are faith, my family, and that I have raised my kids to be outward focused seeing the needs of others and responding to them.
A crazy fun fact about me:
A fun fact about me is that I love cooking! My favorite network on tv is The Food Network. When I have time, I love watching all the celebrity chefs and making some of their dishes for my family!
